Radiation Burst Recorded in Tree Rings
It's fascinating to see the potential sources of this radiation band in tree rings. There are many possibilities for how such an amount of radiation could be created but the constraints, such as the Earth not being stripped of its atmosphere, limit the known methods.
It'll be interesting to see how this plays out after more research in the next couple years.
