After all that hubbub about Pepsi, Mr. Lehrer gets back on topic with a post about how soda taxes actually work!

This is fantastic news as San Francisco has been mulling a city soda tax for a while now. The city buildings themselves have outright banned non-diet soda from being sold on the premises, though the data sure does lead one to the conclusion that diet vs. non-diet soda doesn't exactly benefit the drinker.
