I love it when regular humans put things into space! Well, almost.

This vomit-inducing video shows a team tossing a small payload that includes both a Nexus One (yes, the cellphone) and an Arduino to about 28,000 ft - regular cruising altitude for a commercial flight. That's a pretty decent flight, I'd say, but they've got about 70k more feet before they're officially in "space."
