LHC Plans for 2009/10

The big news of the day is CERNs public release of plans for the LHC for 2009/2010. According to the press release, they're planning on running 3.5TeV per beam (so 7TeV total) when the recently adjusted startup date rolls around this year - currently set for November. Although almost certainly not set in stone, the timetable for moving to 5TeV per beam is in 2010, and the final move to the expected 7TeV per beam sometime after that.
