Lucky for us, he's just an EE and CS professor at MIT so he won't be charging you three easy payments of $19.95 for 16 tips on making your presentations funnier. While I agree that most technical presentations could use some more laughs to keep people interested, you can't shoehorn funny into a presentation if that's not your style. Being comfortable on stage is the key to giving an interesting presentation and I'd rather see more people be comfortable on stage than awkward superposition jokes from a stiff presenter.
