Tabletop Neutrino Detectors

I have yet to see the most recent episode of Bones (4x19, I think) which happens to be semipopular in the physics world because it concerns a certain fictional murder at a fictional science establishment. Entertainment aside, there's some neutrino conversation to be had.

Jennifer Ouellette gives a brief introduction to Juan Collar's experimental neutrino detectors. Evolved from bubble chambers, the interesting part of Collar's experimental setup is that the results actually exist on a scale that humans can observe - a rarity in current particle detector setups. Plus, it's neutrinos.
