Upcoming Physics Events at Berkeley
Every once in a while I'll go looking for physics events in the bay area and, in addition to a friends' recommendation, I found a couple of colloquium talks which sound interesting. The whole list of physics events at UC Berkeley is here. A couple talks which I thought might be interesting to see: Maxwell's Equations And Our Electromagnetic World (John D. Jackson), Ultracold Atomic Physics (Dan Stamper-Kurn) and The Fascinating Physics Of Graphene And How It Might Revoluntionize The Semiconducting Industry (Alessandra Lanzara). All these are part of the Compass Lecture Series.
